General terms and conditions

1. Definitions

In these General Terms and Conditions the following terms shall have the following meanings:

  • Specialthing : the company that operates the webshop, located in the Netherlands.

  • Customer : any natural or legal person who orders products via the Specialthing webshop.

  • Product(s) : all goods offered through the webshop.

  • Agreement : the agreement between Specialthing and the customer regarding the purchase of products.

2. Applicability

  1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements via the Specialthing webshop.

  2. Deviations from these conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.

3. Offers and prices

  1. All offers on the website are non-binding ; Specialthing reserves the right to correct errors.

  2. All prices include VAT , unless otherwise stated.

  3. Specialthing reserves the right to change prices as long as the order has not yet been completed.

4. Orders and agreements

  1. An order is placed by completing the order form on the website and confirming the order.

  2. Specialthing confirms the order by email. The agreement is concluded upon this confirmation.

  3. Specialthing reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in exceptional circumstances, such as technical errors, fraud, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Payment

  1. Payment can be made via the available payment methods in the webshop (iDEAL, PayPal, credit card).

  2. The customer guarantees that he is authorized to use the chosen payment method.

  3. In the event of non-payment, Specialthing may suspend delivery and/or pass the claim on to a third party.

6. Delivery and transfer of ownership

  1. Products will be delivered to the address specified by the customer during the ordering process.

  2. The delivery time is stated with the order. Delays do not entitle you to cancel unless Specialthing is in default.

  3. Ownership of the products will pass to the customer after full payment .

7. Returns and right of withdrawal

  1. The customer has the right to return products within 30 days of receipt.

  2. Return conditions such as undamaged, unworn and with labels/packaging apply (see our Returns Policy ).

  3. The customer is responsible for the costs of returning the item, unless the item is defective or incorrectly delivered.

  4. Refunds will be processed via your original payment method within 30 days of return approval.

8. Warranty and conformity

  1. Specialthing guarantees that products meet reasonable expectations and specifications on the website.

  2. Legal warranty applies to products; defects resulting from normal use will be repaired, replaced, or refunded free of charge.

  3. The warranty does not apply in case of improper use, damage by third parties or wear and tear.

9. Liability

  1. Specialthing is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or business damage.

  2. Specialthing's total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

  3. Liability applies only in the event of intent or gross negligence on the part of Specialthing.

10. Complaints

  1. Complaints can be submitted via info.specialthing@gmail.com.

  2. Specialthing will respond to complaints within a reasonable period of time, maximum 14 days, and resolve them if possible.

11. Privacy and data protection

  1. Personal data is processed in accordance with Specialthing's Privacy Statement .

  2. Data is used for order processing, customer service and product communications.

  3. Specialthing does not share data with third parties, except when necessary for the execution of the agreement (for example, delivery services).

12. Applicable law and disputes

  1. Dutch law applies to all agreements.

  2. Disputes between Specialthing and the customer will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands , unless the law prescribes otherwise.

  3. Consumers can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution Platform.

13. Other provisions

  1. Specialthing may change these terms and conditions. The most current version is always available on the website.

  2. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
